Hauptkirche St. Jacobi

At the end of last year I discovered the Hauptkirche St. Jacobi (St. James Church).  It's one of the 5 original cathedrals in Hamburg.  The church got its start in the year 1255.  It's located in the city center and a tower that's almost 400 ft high.  In the late-1600s the church received a pipe organ, which was built by renowned organ designer Arp Schnitger.  And every Thursday, one of the organist from the church offers a 30 minute recital that's pretty awesome!  Here are a few snaps from a recent visit.
